WISCONSIN – Last night’s election was conducted smoothly and transparently, with any hiccups reported quickly and resolved within a reasonable amount of time. Wisconsin reporting continues to take a significant amount of time, but the process showed the protections in place to keep our elections free, fair, and secure worked as intended on Election Day.
The Democracy Defense Foundation – Wisconsin board released the following statement:
“Thank you to the thousands of municipal and county clerks as well as the friends and neighbors who volunteered their time to administer our elections yesterday. The process, regardless of outcome, showed that Wisconsin elections are protected from widespread fraud and local control of our elections puts power in the hands of our communities. Thank you to all of the candidates for being humble in victory and gracious in defeat accepting the voice of the voters and continuing to build a brighter future for Wisconsin.”
