Phoenix, AZ— Democracy Defense Foundation Arizona board members Governor Jan Brewer, Congressman Matt Salmon, former State Rep. Daniel Hernandez and Yuma County Supervisor Jonathan Lines issued the following statement regarding the 2026 General Election:
“Exercising our right to vote is the most important action we can take as Americans. Yesterday, and over the past four weeks, Arizonans engaged in this sacred duty, voting for the candidates and issues that ultimately earned their support. Some outcomes are definitive; others will take more time as all eligible ballots are counted across the state. We recognize that some voters and candidates may be disappointed in the final outcome, but Arizona elections continue to be administered with high quality and integrity. We thank the county election officials and volunteers for a well-run election.”
